Ossining 13/14's Tournament Team Places Second in Regional Competition

We would like to congratulate our 13/14 year old Ossining Juniors Little League team on their incredible run in the Little League International tournament this year.  Out of 1,000 teams nationally, the team was one of the final 10 teams remaining - a great accomplishment.

The team finished in 2nd place in the East Regional tournament this week after winning the New York State tournament about a week earlier.  The East Region includes teams from Maryland to Maine. Along the way our team beat the teams from Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey and Massachusetts before losing in the final to Pennsylvania.

During the tournament this July/August, our team won the district, section and NY State rounds to advance to the East Regional to play other states. The team was 11-2 overall in the tournaments and outscored their opponents by a combined 70-13 in the games to advance to the East regional.
